DAVIS, James R. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

KINGMAN - James R. Davis, 69-year-old retired railroader, died Tuesday at the home of Dale Wilfond of Rt. 2, Kingman, where he had lived the last several months. A native of Elwood Township, Vermilion County, Illinois, he was a son of Stephen and Mary Davis and was born March 29, 1900. There are no immediate survivors. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodrow Funeral Home here, with Rev. Larry McMilan officiating. Interment will be in Harveysburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. - jlr
